Got an Macbook Pro with board 820-01598 with black screen. No signs of water damage. Measured lcd connector J8500 and find EDP_AUXCH_N short to ground 0ohm. Looks like it goes to U0500. Is it anything to do? Starts fine and all, just no image

Check the value disconnecting LCD.
If still short, dead CPU.

Any liquid history?

Just my tought. the measurement are with LCD disconnected. No waterdamage detected. working just fine accept screen.
