Hi guys.

I have this macbook which was liquid damaged some time ago i managed to fix it but now came back with a fan spinning fast issue. I replaced the trackpad and keyboard to make sure and the IO board doesn't have any damage. I have R5270 contacts missing completely and pin 1 is pp3v3_s3 which i can connect with r5271 but pin 2 is going to SMC. With the first liquid damage there was an issue near U7600 but that's been taken care off. Any ideas would be appreciated

You should run a tiny wire to the trace going to SMC.
If not possible, then need to remove SMC and run the wire directly to its pad.
0.03mm magnet wire is good enough.

not a problem to run a wire the strange thing is that it worked before without the resistor the fan was fine not sure how...

If macbook works and fan spinning fast, that is the most likely issue with some sensor. Install HwMonitor and read sensor values.

Hi guys.

I ran a wire powers on but still fan spinning fast i connected all damaged contacts and traced them... :unsure:

I haven't checked temps and the webcam yes i disconnected and still the same... The trackpad also i replaced and keyboard just to make sure because it was liquid damaged before. The movement of the trackpad is a bit slow

btw they had windows and mac os installed on the old ssd which i replaced also cause it was dead

The trace is SMBUS_SMC_A_S3_SCL from R5271 pin 2 to contact 138 on SMC. i also replaced R5270/71 and R7910/12 also and traced them good so they make a contact cause the board contacts were very bad

Back at this. Cannot seem to find the ASD to test out. With Hwmonitor it will only show temps nothing specific. Any ideas?

The battery is not connected and i haven't tried ASD without ssd but it's a new ssd cause the old one was damaged. Also it needs a new keyboard which i tried with a new keyboard and without keyboard. I need to make ASD tomorrow and try
