Hi, i have a 820-3115-B with the usual bad bottom ram slot. Is it possible to replace the entire RAM bay assembly, or to reinforce the bad soldering that may be causing the issue? Thank you.
You can rework the outer row of pins with the soldering iron but it's not possible to rework the inner rows. This could last long enough or fail again very soon though, not really a proper fix so better max out the working slot.
