820-3462 no trackpad

Arrived not turning on from minor liquid damage on trackpad itself. Replaced with known good trackpad and cable. Keyboard works and trackpad clicks but does not track. Board itself has no liquid damage.

What to check first? Can bad U5701 cause this

Try another trackpad board too.
You can also change U5701, just in case...
