Hey all, same nightmare issue a lot of people have had. Troubleshooting I've already done:
- Using known good trackpad
- Using known good cable
- Tested continuity from end of Trackpad Cable to U4801
- R4801 reads .01 ohms
- Pin 1 - 3.3v
- Pin 4 - 5v
- Replaced U4801 after all diode readings and everything else was checked first.
Diode Mode:
1: 0.3
2: 0.62v
3: 0.5v
4: 0.46v
5: 0.49v
6: 0.0v
7: 0.629v
8: 0.5v
9: 0.63v
10: 0.56v
11: 0.5v
12: 0.0v
13: 0.6v
14: 0.63v
15: 0.64v
16: 0.63v
17: 0.6v
18: 0.638v
I'm ruling out U8000 because there wouldn't be any 3v3_s4 if it was bad right? The values stack up against what everyone else has had on diode mode as well. Is there anything I'm desperately missing? Another bad U4801? Keyboard works just fine.
Any help is appreciated.
