A1286 820-2915-A no battery

Hi.

I have an A1286 820-2915-A, that only works with power cable connected.

Battery isen't recognized is macOS.

Already tried a known good battery, but same result.

SMBUS_SMC_BSA_SCL/SDA lines on battery conector seams to be ok: 0.550 in diode reading.

Can you help?

What is the exact PPBUS_G3H voltage (without battery connected)?

PPBUS_G3H is 12.58V w/o battery.

With the LID conector disconected is the same result.

Shall I replace U7000?

No history. Just stoped working, the client says.

SCL/SDA on battery conector are 3.47V (I think that they are correct)

Do you get PPBUS_G3H with battery alone (no charger)?

Hi,
I get 2.3V on PPBUS_G3H with only the battery connected, but this battery probably is almost discharged.
R6950 seams to be ok and has 9.8 kohm

Check with known good battery; even one from A1278 can help for test.
Also test actual one into other machine (A1278 maybe).

It were the batteries (tried with 3 different ones, and all were bad). The last one was good, and now it is charging.
