In the images below there are 2 genunely new chips and 2 old chips pulled from boards
Can you tell which one is fake?.

Not from those pictures. To asses them properly I would need to see them with my own eyes as the Chinese got very good at polishing and faking them. Also depends on who they are coming from.

Pictures are not very good. I posted thinking maybe I would get some replies to restore my faith. Seen a few boards with bullshit chips recently.
