[SOLVED] 820-3476 no video on internal screen

Hi , ive got an 820-3476 with no video on internal screen, checked with good working screen no pic, has backlight and 3.3v at pin 10 EDP_PANEL_PWR_EN would that then mean it would be the screen connector itself faulty? also has pic on external,

Do a PRAM reset and boot from a known good SSD or external HD....

Hi , ive done pram reset already and it does boot to external screen with original ssd, but I did have one yesterday that was just pram but not so lucky today

Voltage on pin 2 of L8300?

If there is backlight there is an image. With eDP there is nothing in between. Did you test it with an LCD from the correct year?

thats what i thought , yes both 2013/14 , voltage a l8300 is 5.1v and we do get backlight , thats why i wondered if it could just be screen cable connector even though it looks clean

It must work or it will be an issue with the CPU where the eDP signal is generated. So if this is not the LCD it will be trash. Just to make sure you know, these power on to a black screen with backlight, not like the older ones to a grey screen!
