820-3662 no boot/chime

Apparently, beer was spilt on this and it has several areas with corrosion.
When it arrived nothing happened at all no green light etc.

Have now got it to fanspin and cpu gets hot but no boot/chime, ppvcc_s0_cpu measures 1.69v

Sometimes when i plug it in the fan spins for about 10 secs then goes off and starts spinning again and remains spinning

any ideas?

Yeah that's gonna suck. Corrosion somewhere or under some chip. Or in worst case the CPU is dead if there was corrosion around CPU power supply area.

If you looked the board over good at this point and don't see anything else obvious, then it might save time to run it through the sonic cleaner.
