    I think I normally used the crest on 5 at my old job and it worked well. Normally I ultrasonic it, then put it in alcohol bath for a minute or 2 and then air dry it with paper towel for about a minute. Optimally, an oven would be good but I would use a heat gun on low to dry alcohol quickly then used canned air to blow out alcohol under BGA chips and never had an issue with it firing up after that

    another thing im curious to know is, does anyone dry their boards? to prevent liquid remaining under ic's bga's or whatever?
    would putting them in oven @ low temps like 50c for 10 mins help as i really cbf waiting overnight.

    Normally yeah 60 celsius is what I use since it's what Louis recommended. I usually go 5 min on both side.

    Hey all. Just wondering whats the safe temp for ultrasonic cleaning? I usually do 1 minute on each side? 60 degrees celcius?
