Missing management engine

Hi.

History
This is a recycling centre machine, already worked on.
Was no power
Replaced Q7130 and some other badly done bit's I can't remember.

Problem
Board now powers, hangs on boot.
Fans running high.
ASD (EFI) says management engine missing, Ts0P error but Ts0P returns nothing on the schematic

This is SPI ROM issue right?

TS0P is sensor in the trackpad, check flat cable/connector.

Ideal, thank you. There a good tool for flashing BIOS?.... I'll use the google but anyone want to share info on what they use would be appreciated.

If I go ahead and flash with clean ME will I also need to re-serializer the board?

If you want you can search the file for "SSN" or "ssn" and change the serial in a HEX editor.

OK thanks. I'll find a hex editor for OS X.

Also, let's say hypothetically that I get a board in with a shorted CPU high side and I want to replace the board. If read the chip, search for SSN, I can then change the serial on the new board to the one on the MacBook base right?
