A friend asked me about a 2012 mbp he just bought.
It boots when he plug in magsafe but the powerbutton have no function. The keyboard is working fine.
He's gonna send it to me.
Is it something on the board that can cause the powerbutton to stop working?

Did you try to short smc_onoff_l to ground?

Strange if liquid only destroys powerbutton

Not strange at all. Incredibly common on this model. 99% chance it's the keyboard, replace and be happy.

Got the computer today.
I have tried three known good keyboards but no powerbutton fuction.
Shorting SMC_ONOFF_L to ground dosent change anything

What is the voltage on C5710? SMC_LID high?

C5710 is 3.42 volt
meassured SMC_LID at R6961 and it is 3.45 volt.
But now when the logic board is removed from the case the powerbutton works with only keyboard and battery plugged in.

That is because if you plug in the battery indicator it pulls down SMC_LID. Check again with BIL connected.
