Hi, Got this mac. Ther is no water damage. Customer just updated system and suddenly it started to not wake up sometimes when you open LID, also not turning off when i close it so battery getting 0% and after that it turns on with charger. My question is where i can find lid sensor on this...

Hi, No water damage, no visible bad component. There are 55V on PPVOUT_S0_LCDBKLT and continuity to PIN 43 from C8460/61/62... Already tried with new flex and 2 good know lcd panel. No way, there is no backlight on display. Thanks

That is exactly what happening. Just add the detail about which port is connected charger. When i connect charger to: Port 1 (near corner): all is working fine, getting all lines, booting mac, charging and getting all ines on both CD3215 Port 2 (used for DFU) not getting 3V3_G3H_RTC and...

the key is: it is missing only when connect charger to second port (which is used for DFU) then when i have a problema. First port is working fine.

There is continuity from R6979 to C3100. As i told there is only 1 port failing. Even when i boot with good port C3100 is getting correcto voltage. May be than CD32 bad reballed/soldered

this line: PP3V3_G3H_RTC ? I cannot find where it comes from.

Got this board absolutly dead. Q3100 and Q3200 was heating up while trying to boot. Replaced them and also removed and replaced shorted C7034. Now computer works fine.except of one of ports. It is U3100 Port getting 5V and 0 AMPS. Alreday tried to replace it from donor board but no changes...

This was first i checked and seems to be all ok. I was thinking and they way mac starts (fan high, always turned on) is very similiar to SMC BY PASS mode in previous Mac series, like power button is pressed always. As I know theese models smc is integrated with CPU and bypass is not working...

All EDP_INT lines are about 0.330-0.350. Actually i have no board to check it. Checked same lines on A2251 and the value is 0.450.
