820-3435-b. voltage is 8.6 on backlight line where the boost signal should be sent to.
the ic is getting voltage in, the enable signal is present, the voltage divider resistors test as normal, the voltage on the dividers is also what it should be.
the chip was burnt and there was dirt...
Its blowing randomly as far as i can tell. ive had to replace it 3-4x already
just looked inside the connector with the microscope, its burnt out on the inside. around the backlight pins.

(did find a few resistors on PPVIN_S0SW_LCDBKLT that do not measure in ohms correctly, but i replaced them (and measured before i did) and its almost like...
the charger is original, and i did inspect the board for missing components, everytime i saw a spot that looked like it might need something it was an omit or no stuff spot.
ill check the smc and the area around it, and check slp s4 for a short, thanks

resistance to ground on 3v42 is.....(measured on c5725, diode mode .636, 20.94 kohm measured as well)
d6905 (which is the component directly after r6905 that i had to replace) , pin #2 says "nc 2727" which i thought nc meant not controlled, yet its putting off 10v, does that mean anything?
