How long should it take for the “ME” to finish its process of getting “reacquainted” with hardware? I waited like 2 mins is this enough For the machine to boot? Sometimes I notice longer wait times than others

Unfortunately that didn’t work :( it also does nothing. But I removed the bios from the 820-3115 board awaiting pch and that bios chimes on this board but has no video :( so I guess I’ll just keep looking for another bios thank you 2informatico

Hi I purchased a board off eBay and I repaired the water damaged areas. but it has no bios chip I’d like to do a clean ME and switch serial# from a donor chip. I searched on this forum but all the “clean” or “test” bios say “in owners trash” or just don’t download. I wanted to use ME injector...

So I’m guessing cpu data lines are in short either another pch or cpu :(. Is this another “donor board” for the stock pile ?

Ok yes als works I cover camera and key board lights intensify. I tried also re installing OS X and even erase ssd several time. Just in case it was a software issue :( I’m basically stuck.

I’ve come back to this board once again I replaced BCM U3900 chip cleaned me region and nothing :( I resoldered the camera connector. Is it possible that I can send the file for bios and maybe you can clean the me :/ I’ve tried but maybe I’m not doing it right. I’ll go over the pier rails again...

Ok thank you 2informatico. May I ask one more question. Would it be better to invest in a ultrasonic or a bga machines? I have purchased at least 6 boards that either have pch or cpu issues. It’s more about trying to rescue what you can. Is it a wise investment ?
