    820-00165-A no backlight

Apparently no connection here. Let's see if this voltage divider starts to work again. SOLVED: connection made, divider works.

    820-00165-A no backlight

BKL_PWM is 1.5V. Tried new backlight IC, nothing.

    820-00165-A no backlight

I tried PRAM and nothing. What are backlight control keys? PRAM combo? I?ll report back with BKL_PWM voltage tomorrow.

    820-00165-A no backlight

Water damaged around USB on board. Cleaned. Feeback trace is good. I get 20V out, nothing on screen. I've tried another display, same thing. What am I missing?

820-00138-A = tries to power up

This was water damaged Macbook, keyboard took damage and a bit of the SMC area. Someone tried to repair it previously by making one jumper and reflowing ISL. Using DCPS, the board tries to boot and pulls 1700mA, but drops shortly after to 24mA and stays there. I'm guessing SMC not working...

    820-00165 24mA draw from DCPS, no PP5V_S4RS3

Alrigh, full short on CPU_VCORE. CPU lights up like Christmas tree. I actually measured this at first when opening board, but didn't want to give hope that yet. I've rebuilt everything, except that U2800, which can be replaced, right? As for CPU, what would be the best source?

    820-00165 24mA draw from DCPS, no PP5V_S4RS3

I ended up full shorting U2800, which is removed now. That can be replaced, right? No shorts on PP3V3_S5 and PP3V3_S4 now... Back to square 1. I tried to catch (before messing with anything on board) any pulse on L7520 and it would go up to 1.5-2V and back to 0V. But first to rebuild U7501...

    820-00165 24mA draw from DCPS, no PP5V_S4RS3

Well I screwed it up. Changed U7501 and Q7520 thinking that could be problem. Board shorted and Q7560 was blown. Partial short on PP3V3_S5...

    820-00165 24mA draw from DCPS, no PP5V_S4RS3

Macbook just died by itself. Board is clean, nothing visible have I found. Replaced U7501 and it board tried to boot to 200mA and more, but returned back to 24mA. PPBUS 8.6V PP3V42 3.42V Orange light present Solder balls around Q7520

    820-3115 - VP0R fails in ASD

0V w/ and w/o. Solved: No PPBUS entering Q5480. Ripped pad.

    820-3115 - VP0R fails in ASD

PPBUS on battery 11.3V. ASD fails at VP0R even with 70% charged battery.

    820-3642 (A1425) - PP3V3_S5 almost full short

    PP3V3_S5 - 46 Ohms PP3V3_SUS - 42 Ohms PM_SLP_S4_L - 162 Ohms

    820-3642 (A1425) - PP3V3_S5 almost full short

    No, I haven't started without U2600. What I found partially shorted is: PP3V3_S5 - 0.017 PP3V3_SUS - 0.016 PM_SLP_S4_L - 0.060

    820-3642 (A1425) - PP3V3_S5 almost full short

Water damaged around C9687, down below from DC Jack. Cleaned in UC, tried booting. 55mA. Pulled U2600 out, found PP3V3_S5 0.0017 diode mode. Tried injecting 3.3V there, U1800 gets warm. Am I screwed? Maybe just for test lift all caps in damage area where liquid was?

    820-3332 = doesn't start, missing PM_BATLOW_L

Used 2 original 85W chargers on this one, no improvement.
