    820-00281 - PPBUS 0.77v

I had the same case, same voltages. SMC_USBC_INT_L was present in my case however. SMC was the fault in my case

    820-00165 Not Cooling Properly

What max temps are showing? I clearly stated that sensors are showing normally. However, the temps showing, will vary if it’s idling, putting stress, etc Honestly, your advice in this form has gone downhill. You used to give solid advice, and unfortunately it has gone drastically downhill. I’m...

    820-00165 Not Cooling Properly

Alright, so I have an 820-00165 that the automatic fan control is not working properly. Board is spotless, with no liquid damage. Essentially, the fan stays around 1200RPM no matter what the temps are. The computer idles at normal temperature and the fan hangs around 1200 rpm. However, when...

820-01700 runs from battery, not charger

Just update for anyone who cares if maybe their client will want to use the machine with a stone-dead battery like it was designed. The solution: SMC issue, Flashing T2 ROM, and DFU restoring fixed the issue.

820-01700 runs from battery, not charger

The 01700 does boot with a 96 watt I have already done about 10 of these boards. So... There is definitely something wrong with the board

820-01700 runs from battery, not charger

I am not going to lie to you, the title makes this sound easy, but I'm not thinking its that easy. 820-07100 Board History: Battery died, client wasn't able to charge. Does show the dead battery symbol when you plug it in. (I am using a known good OEM 96watt adapter) No liquid I unplugged...

820-3437 PM_SLP_S4_L, I am thinking dead CPU/PCH, but wanted a second opinion, or something else to check. 00923 PM_SLP_S5_L missing

Hello, I have a 820-00923 that is missing PM_SLP_S5_L. No liquid damage, client stated just died on him one day. I am thinking dead PCH, would like a second opinion, or something else to check before I call it. 20v at about 70mA Measurements: PPBUS: 13v1 PP5v_S5: 5v PP3v3_S5: 3v3 S5_PWRGD...

    820-4924 PM_SLP_S5_L missing

Device History: Unit came into shop, with backlight on, but no image. During initial inspection, the unit did not power on. Tech had to do SMC reset, for it to turn on. After that, the no image issue, was caused by the LVDS cable. Tech installed the cable, ran a diagnostic. Everything seemed to...
