    A1989 820-00850 - Hole on UB300, after replacement, UB400 loops 5V 0.27A

Swapped UB090 from working board, still not transitioning to 20 without battery. Stuck at 5V 0.27A and cycles to 0A on the right ports every 10s Replaced UB300 again, also replaced QB300 as seems like there was sticky corrosion underneath.

    A1989 820-00850 - Hole on UB300, after replacement, UB400 loops 5V 0.27A

OK I managed to charge the battery with donor board and now it turned on. This with original ROm However it is not charging on any ports. USBcs are working however as i can transfer the data. With battery connected left USBcs stays at 5V 0.24A Top Right USBs - 5V 0A Bottom right USBc - no...

    A1989 820-00850 - Hole on UB300, after replacement, UB400 loops 5V 0.27A

I swapped Rom from same donor board i know is working. Would that ROM need any work on? both side CD32s now stay at 5V 0.06A, t2 warms up left side is still visible in DFU This ROM on donor Macbook pushes it straight to DFU. Donor boots with original ROM. With that donor ROM also its...

    A1989 820-00850 - Hole on UB300, after replacement, UB400 loops 5V 0.27A

T2 gets warm, PMU voltages are present Replaced both UB3/400 multiple times. Device is visible in DFU via U31/3200. Does it seems like CD32 issues? Was it CD3215 which needs all 4 to be alive or only 2 on one side?

    A2179 820-01958 Not turning on, 20V 0.06A - DFU Restore error 4013

Could it be NAND issue? Connected without pushing to DFU it comes as Recovery in Apple Configurator. But either ways is not completig restore nor revive. Looking at the logs its keep repeating this error ay 5 21:28:10 --- last message repeated 1 time --- May 5 21:28:13 A2442SG...

    A2179 820-01958 Not turning on, 20V 0.06A - DFU Restore error 4013

YEah battery charged as it stopped pulling charging current, trackpad seems ok with no corrosiopn. tried about 20 times now, mainly comes with this error: RestoreOS device removed before restored completed [com.apple.MobileDevice.MobileRestore – 0xFAA (4010)] Could it be failing SSD loosing...

    A2179 820-01958 Not turning on, 20V 0.06A - DFU Restore error 4013

Managed to push to DFu mode. System restore goes through Installing system and fails. Different progress on each attempt, once even show a loading apple logo with slight fan spin attempt and cut off. This board has no sighs of any liquid or corrosion.

    A2179 820-01958 Not turning on, 20V 0.06A - DFU Restore error 4013

Read around that it could be a SSD failure. Anyone come across this? Gets deceted in Recovery mode, Did Revive and Restore, same error. Unexpected device state 'Recovery' expected 'RestoreOS' (Probably caused by corruption or panic in the bundle's restored) [com.apple.MobileDevice.MobileRestore...

A1990 820-01041 - 5V/0.07A no SSD voltages, goes directly to DFU

Thanks, would you happen to know how to load this into the flexBV? Seems like it creates a blank odbdata file for each schematic.

Yes DFU Revive gives Error 9. I dont have a working A1990 on hand. Will compare to a faulty one I have.

A1990 820-01041 - 5V/0.07A no SSD voltages, goes directly to DFU

With a spare new battery (Im almost certain its above 50% level) and bare board on bench, charger goes to 20V/0A. Also, tested with original used one, 5V/0.06A PPBUS_G3H = 11.66V Still no SSD voltage and still in DFU mode

A1990 820-01041 - 5V/0.07A no SSD voltages, goes directly to DFU

No short, no liquid damage. Slight dust. Seems common issue with this model, but could not narrow it down. Pulling 5V/0.07A No signs of life. PPBUS_G3H_SSD0_SNS = 12.3V SSD_VR_P2V5_EN = 0V PP3V3_G3H_SSD0_SNS = 3.3V And of course it has to be a data recovery case, so no DFU Restore :)

    A2141 820-01700 - Blown U9580 with Short on PPBUS_G3H. 4Ohm resistance on PP2V5_NAND_SSD0 ?

U9580 was blown causing PPBUS_G3H short, removed it, noticed 4Ohm resistance on SSD lines. Replaced U9580, now I see 20V, 0.5A. Fan tries to spin for a second and drops the current to 0A and cycles. Checked with reference board, PP2V5_NAND_SSD0 is 11Ohm. Cant detect any other shorts...

    A2251 - 820-01949 - Liquid damage around touchbar connector t2 warms up, Cylces 5V 0.5A

Cleaned the oxidation of the touchbar connector. Replaced U3100_X and _T CD3217's twice in case if they are causing it. No other shorts around the board. Can see it for split second in DFU mode but dissapears. 5V transitions to 20V before cycles.
