    Retina 13" 820-4924 - No Display

820-4924 ( changed the SMC because of another problem with charging the battery and then shit hit the fan. The display stopped working! SMPS = 20v, power up on 400amp, and then stays at 700amp. NO Display Red water marks visible. Small corrossion on two components next to U7700 (backlight IC)...

hi 2informaticos, sorry late reply, was busy with my other businesses.. I dig the bottom, there is no continuity now.. But the resistor 10 ohm, still exploded after putting a new one... So strange. what could cause that to happen.. ? The trace is inside the board to the other side.. wont be...

C6991 is shorted to ground. I detached the CAP. the short is still there inside the board it seems under the pad... How do I go about to solve that issue? drill a hole in the board through it? (pp3v42.. forget that, i was just mumbling.)

Ok, I will check that and revert back. the problem could be with PCH.. . If its not the trackpad and flex/board as u described.. earlier the PCH became very hot. when I didnt have any image. maybe that was because I used 2.5 amp with SMPS the PCH got hot... or maybe some short inside of it...

I reball the SMC and change it to a new one, there was a trace broken under the smc on: SMC_PBUS_VSENSE LINE. i ran a jumper... that might have been the cause of the problem, because i previously changed the SMC a few times(stupidly) probably pulled it by then. However, now I have image and the...

    Hi Gents, 820-3209A (no image) 19v on SMPS and draws 0.633 amp. So far i have: PP3V3_S0 = 3.3 PP1V8_S0 = 1.8 PP1V5_S3 = 1.5 PP1V5_S0 = 1.5 PPVTTDDR_S3 = 0.680 (my DMM sometimes shows lower voltage) i think its good enough 0.75v.) DDRREG_FB = 1.3 DDREG_EN = 3.3 PPVCCSA_S0_CPU = 0.8...

    820-3209 (8.2v on F7040)

I have 8.6 now on PPBUS after changing the SMC. When I connect the SMPS I get a short fan spin and then fan stops. Stuck on 0.020 amp.

    820-3209 (8.2v on F7040)

    Diode mode R5281 = Pin1: 0.800, Pin2: 1600 R5280 = PIN1: 1600, PIN2: 0.800 I happen to miss the voltage lines: SMBUS_BATT_SCL (R5281) = 3.4v SMBUS_BATT_SDA (R5280) = 3.4v
