Does anyone know what puts the display to sleep, that seems to be the issue here. i see the keyboard goes to sleep but the lcd does not .

SMC _LID is 0v when closed when i open lid its 3.4xx volts which seems to be normal but the display stays on and will not go to sleep

i also forgot to mention there is no audio either that's why i tried replacing the io board.

i tried another io board and cable same issue

working on a 820-3437 computer works fine hardware test comes up fine but computer will not go to sleep any ideas where to look .

so what do you think is causing the power cycling because im totaly lost if my u1900 is also cycling

turns on with backlight then goes dim

the reason i said pin 9 of u1900 is pulsing because i cant get a steady wave form its at about 78 to 133mhz constantly pulsing on and off there is a different reading everytime

Hello guys i'm working on this touchbar mac which has a strange problem, if i disconnect the battery and boot it up with power adapter i get backlight if i try with battery connected backlight dims out any ideas what this could be. Never came across an issue like this before.

U1950 pins 7 and 3 are pulsing also pin 9 of u1900 is also pulsing
