    Laptop is like new with only 17 cycles. Shuts off randomly, does not restart on its own. No report. completely clean and untouched. Do these have any mosfet issue?

    So another new battery and both boards booted no problem. Strangely, I put them back in their original cases and they worked with those batteries now. The trackpad threw me off with these. That and I had to go through 3 ‘good’ batteries to make it work.

    Ordered an aftermarket battery. If that was the issue would an aftermarket battery even resolve it?

    Same result with external. Tried with internal connected and disconnected.

    Out of other batteries. Used last one I used was working with another machine. safe mode doesn’t work.

    The other Mac allowed me to run diag. Came back no issues.

    Diagnostics won’t run. I can select a language and agree but the progress bar never comes up and the courser freezes.

    Used u7420 from 00928.. from the schematic I thought they were the same but the lettering on the chip is different. 820-01814 - SIC532 BE 820-00928 - SIC535 AF I used schematic for 820-01041. Which says SIC535.

    Liquid damage near u7420. Board had a short prior to replacing u7420. Replaced and all seemed good. When booting it gets half way, the fans spin up fast and it restarts. In safe mode it boots fine. Attaching panic report. Same after restoring.

    I misunderstood. Just tried and still does the same with u4850 left off.
