I have been looking for the same problem you had with your alienware R3. I have 17R4.. same issue. Bios chip missing 3.3volt.
I have not seen any post from you after you got new KBC. what was the problem. Did it hapoen to be fixed. Any help or suggestion is appreciated. All story abot voltages is same as your in my case.
