820-00165A. No light on charger. Won’t pull any current until the power button is pressed. Boots. Fan was running full tilt and did not show the battery. SMC reset... Now shows battery. Backlight dims now when charger is hooked up. Backlight started dimming and fan speed slowed after SMC reset. No liquid damage

I have an 820-00165A. Shuts down during boot up/ loading bar 1/3 across. Numbers seem ok. Tried swapping SSD. Tried booting externally. Same result. It’ll run without a drive/question mark folder, all day long. Any thoughts?
