of the 9 voltages you asked for I have 0v on all of them except 3.4v on pin 12 and 18.2v on pin 1
17/18 20.7 ohms
27/28 20.4 ohms
on a side not the steady green light is gone

I do have a 10 ohm short on r7011 or pins 3 and 19 or the isl
I have an 820-2530 which is not turning on. I have 0.19 volts on ppbus with no short.
The adapter light turns green and never changes to orange, does that indicate anything in particular?
My only thought is isl6958, but I am not sure what enables I should be checking first
I held the keys and reset the pram several times in a row, it flashed multiple times. I was just asking about hearing the chime if the logic board is pulled out as a second quesiton
I do get usb light and when resetting the pram it goes off. Is it normal when a logic board with the speakers attached to it, removed from the case, not to chime?
changed the backlight driver and I am back up to 27.8v. Since the speakers are connected to the board on this model, I should be hearing it chime when resetting the pram(but it did not)? I did hear it chime originally when first looking at the computer before removing the logic board
I tried to do a pram reset and it did not chime. I then replaced the backlight driver. Now my backlight output is down to 12.* . I am guessing my solder job may be bad. It seemed to go perfectly
I have a missing backlight and 0v on bkl_pwm. I am able to get the backlight to come on if I jump pp3v3_s0 to bkl_pwm. Any ideas to why bkl_pwm is 0v?
I get 30 volts on the main backlight line without the jumper
I know this is an old thread, but I am trying to make sense of it. is pin 8 input or output, created by the SMC or u5110? Based on the comment, connect pin 1 to 8 implies pin 8 is output on u5110, Is that correct? If that is the case, would the SMC be pulling it down to .89 volts?
1. something changed, my ppbus is now just 8.1 and I have no light
2. I no longer have PM_PWRBTN_L voltage (probably related to the smc not turning on)
I only attached a wire to smc_onoff_l then tapped the other side of the wire to ground when I wanted to trigger it. Something else is keeping the smc off :-{
