Checked the resistors already and they read correctly...
Check the traces for continuity? This is not a water damaged board, although current sensing resistors were very badly burnt when it came in. Could the traces be partially damaged?
I was having bad results. Now the boards I clean look better than factory new. ALL the solder joints are shiny unless they were corroded (then they look dull). All the copper traces are clean and crisp.
This happened after I switched from industrial grade distilled water and IPA to laboratory...
I use Tesa red tape for iPads and naturally used it for gluing MacBook Pro glass in place. Since the surface area is so big, it sticks properly and doesn't budge. Small smartphones with small frames require specially strong double tape. Not the case for those Mac glass.
