Hi Im having a 820-3115 board. all voltages present, but no video or image on screen. not the no back light ,but no image. when plug in usb mouse, the light is up. no beeps, no chime, can't find liquid spilled. where should i start? thanks

LOL, problem found. not the chip. you guys are right .something to do with the LDO VREG3 is shorted to ground.it's C703 that is bad. removed and replaced,fire up right away

my thought would be something in the output side pulling it down. common seen when pp3v3 5v having a shorted sub circuit. usually can be cap in the usb 5 circuit or something else. that's why apredez told me to check l7520 and l7560, but both of them look fine.no shorts.

i already checked. one is 300 sth, one is 100 sth, (diode mode ,resistance to ground) i have another same model machine here and compared. they all seem to be right.

when i said around,it's pretty much like around 1v meaning 1.01-1.05,sth like that. pretty solid on the numbers SMC_PM_G2_EN is there 3.3v-3.4v

the SN check shows late 2014, I have an idea though, since 3476 is model for both 2013 and 2014, if I revise the SN in the EFI (use a 2013 machine's SN) , you think it should make the ASD work?

Hi I having a 820-2915 board, no liquid spilled. all power rails present but the CPU VCORE. checked on u7400,pin 40,24,15 are all 5v pin 2 TON=11-12V pin1 EN=3.3V replaced u7400, but no luck,still the same,any seen this before or any thoughts? thanks
