thick uv glue, known as fishing glue. i used that stuff to make my own smc edge bonding. I'll try to get a photo tomorrow. the texture is very similar as original edge bonding for the SMC and CPU. takes a couple of seconds to cure with a uv light...

all your bios were good after all. this board isn't new. lying bastard to whoever sold him the board. fixed after quick reflow on the smc.

thank you 2informaticos. the board still doing the same problem sometime will boot and most of the time doing long quarter fan spin and CPU Vcore pulses. the board looks very clean. can it be bad SMC or CPU?

hi 2informaticos do you have clean me bios for this board, i couldn't find it anywhere else. spi terminal resistors are all good. The 25k MHz clock signal is there. hopefully isn't smc or CPU problem.

can you delete all the 20 disk partitions and start all over again. if doesn't work then you have dead SSD or bad BGA balls under CPU that connect to the SSD..

edit. . yep, no ambient air sensor, CPU proximity and fin stack error on the original bios. this is weird. should i just use your last bios and give SMC a reflow? even tho i don't see any liquid on the board.

mm, let me put back the original one again to check if there's any sensor error. pretty certain there wasn't any. do you reckon there is crap under the SMC and also caused original bios to become corrupted and doesn't show sensor error? might just require a reflow or should it, original edge...

you get light on USB, but any light flashing activity on USB? if doesn't flash then its braindead at the moment. just my opinion.

just tried: MLB with LCD cable, USB drive, with battery MLB with LCD cable, USB drive with DC plug without i/o flex cable. same results. i guess the board probably have a bad CPU solder joint.
