I bought the same chip. But I encountered a problem with reballing. Tell me what I'm doing wrong that sometimes the balls don't form as they should? Bottom heating 240C, top 320C, I pour flux well. And the result is this.
When turned on, the touchbar flashes several times. Apparently, the touchbar interferes with loading, I thought and transferred the motherboard to a test MacBook of the same model. The MacBook recovered and works normally except for the constantly glowing touchbar backlight.
The inside of the MacBook looks perfect. But when you try to install the OS, the MacBook reboots! I tried to restore it via DFU, but the result is the same. The MacBook works until you try to install the OS!
of course no one recommends! but judging from the diagram at least for testing they are interchangeable, but I seemed to have a problem with correct charging ...
if you take the board out of the macbook and connect it to the table, does it boot up via USB meter? with a 96 watt charger, it should work without a battery!
I compared the resistors from page 116, they are all the same on both boards!
VRAM chips have the same markings!
but the boards have different amounts of RAM, 64 and 32 GB
