the other thing I find strange is that the amp meter will instantly show 20V, but on working macbooks I'm used to it going to 5V for a second and then switching to 20V after. But in this case it's instant 20v no hesitation
This thing is completely trolling me. One minute a port will show 20V, the next it will show 5V, the port next to it will start the emp meter and restart the amp meter. One minute PPbus is at 3.2 the next it's at 12.2V. The ports seem to be playing musical chairs now because it's swapping which...
Because I did install two CD3215c006aa51pw chips and now im wondering if that's even correct and might be causing the issues.
I also used Q3100 etc. from a different board and the chip is different. I swapped them back now and I'm now getting 20V on two ports and not just one. I'm guessing...
Ok just checked, CPU coils are around 1.5 ohms so should be ok
The one coil that stands out is 7260 which is a straight short to ground. Shall I inject and see what's up?
RAM coil numbers look good. Which one is PCH?
Voltages correct on all 4 chips. the 1v1 lines I guess depend on the USB port that's powered. So as long as I had it in the correct port, it was perfect
actually I just realised PPBUS also pulses but not strong. Every few seconds it'll go down to 12.3 and then back to 12.56
so L7030 is actually pulsing and so is L3895
