thank you for your help. i confirmed it to be the CPU. removed every component on that line with only CPU left and it's short. so then I decided to put 30v through the line since it's dead anyway and CPU heats up. So i guess this thread is solved haha

Yep, definitely short, 1.5 ohms to ground. correct. all coils except those on that line it seems

actually wait, PPVCC_S0_CPU is a dead short. seeing if I can hopefully find a dead cap

Checked all of them, apart from the strange issues mentioned above, I have found no other problems. I do wonder what's different about U8020 though

Another strange issue. PP3v3_S3_FET_R is down on every other mosfet and only pulsing except for U8020. it has permanent 3.3v there

OK I'm half way through, it's a ton of work. basically all of the lines are pulsing. both in and out volatges. they're not present but they are pulsing when connected. But two things which are strange. 1. PP1v05_S0 only has 200 ohms somestimes less to ground, in fact in continuity mode my...

No cycling at all. just initial pulse when power is connected. 58 on my schematic is Power Fets. Do you mean 68 power aliases?

Looks like All coils pulse slightly. Just rechecked L7520 and it pulsed all the way to 4V 7 and 2 pulse too
