Hi all, This is a liquid damaged board but tiny bit near the lcd connector. I check the LCD with working board and LCD by itself is fine. I replaced the LCD flex cable still the same with damaged board. macbook works fine with external monitor. but with the internal display not sure if this...

but I think q7706 is works the way it should be. it is not sending signals as the gate voltage is not lower than source. current sensing works and datat lines are fine. could this be the connector?

Hi, Thank you for your quick reply. LCD connector removed as it was broken. some one tried to remove the cable wrong way. there is no short on D7701 . resistance to ground 0.566v R7710/11 BOTH ARE OK . replaced u7701 still same. replaced q7706 no dice.

I doubt about a dead PCH. but as more than 10 line of PP3V3_S5G goes straight tothe PCH I'm doubting is it normail to get PCH hot when I inject 3.3v on line line.

yes it is. problem is smc_delayed_pwrgd doesnt come to pin 6 on u1950. and thats why no pm_pch_sys_pwrok and pm_pch_pwrok not present

Hi John, u1950 has been replaced due to liquid dmg and smc replaced. check witha different bios still the same. I get the clock signal properly.

Also when i connect a mouse it lights up.

just to add about background no liquid dmg or power issue.

Hi, I have 820-3437 board liquid damaged in u5110 area. I have cpuvcore 1.7v but no chime no fan spin . I found pm_pch_pwrok missing and ALL_SYS_PWRGD present but no SMC_DELAYED_PWRGD. There is no short to ground in Delayed_pwrgd line. appriciate your help. Thank you
