the efi and OS diagnostics both passed. the only strange thing that i notice is that chgr_bgate is 0.9v and it charges really slow. u7000 has been replaced several times and q6910 was replaced
it was still the same reading with d6950 removed but reflowed u7800 and now it powers up. i misplaced d6950 so can i just run a wire from ground to sys_detect_l?
scl is 3.3v with or without the battery connected
sda is 3.3v with the battery and 0.9v without the battery connected
diode mode is .449 for scl and .412 for sda
I'm familar with the logic boards that existed before usb C. This data bus should be working with or without a battery? u7000 was replaced and the resistance of r5380/r5381 both measure around 2k. ppdcin is 20v and ppbus is 0v and I think it's because smbus_smc_5_g3_sda is missing. the battery...
this one is pecular because it hesitates by about 10 seconds before it beeps without the ram installed and when the ram is installed it hesitates before the cpu vcore drops to .8v like it should but it doesn't want to post. i'm not sure what to check. all rails are present as far as i know
pp3v3_tbt_t_f is shorted to ground because of a water spill that got under ub000. ppdcin stays at 5v. could this be the issue? i've replaced both cd3215 chips on that side
this board suffered from water damage and qb400 is burned and needs to be replaced but seems almost impossible to removed it without damaging the contacts on the board. is there a technique to lessen the damage?
