From another post i see that I needed to test U6901 on the DC IN board itself.
U6091 Pin 5 (PP3V42_G3H) = 0.04v
U6091 Pin 1/2 (SMC_BC_ACOK) = .5v
Voltages at J9500
SMC_BC_ACOK = 0v
PP3v42_G3H = 0.028v
SYS_ONEWIRE = .46v
DC board has pins 1/2 at 3.2v
So I know I need to get PP3v42 back to...
PP3V42_G3H is at 0.12v so I really need to get that going first of course. Just looking for direction if computer boots and works off battery but not charger and is not charging.
I've been doing some reading on the forum. Should pin 3 of MLB to LIO Power Cable Connector (PP5V_S4RS3) have 5v already? Or is that created after it boots? I know I watched a video of Louis' that explained this. Damn memory.
The green light actually blinks every now and then. So I've searched all over and I can't find out what voltage I'm supposed to get from the I/O board.
Hi,
I have a Macbook Air 820-3437-A. No Green light. After cleaning up some corroded caps around U7100 it will boot from the battery and work fine. It will not boot or charge. Do I have bad I/O board?
Coming off the DC board I have 3.14v but when I connect it to the MB at J7000 I get a...
Hi I have a Macbook Pro 15" 2012 Retina 820-3332-A. It will boot from usb and thunderbolt and work perfectly but the internal PCIE drive just boot loops. I've tested the PCIE drive on another Mac and it works perfectly. I'm guessing the issue has to do with some data lines going to the...
The I/O board tested at the connection to the logic board has
5.1v on pin 3
16.69v on pin 1 and 2
I do have another I/O board but it could be faulty too if that's what the issue is. Still after I leave the computer unplugged for more than 5 minutes when I plug it in the Green light comes on...
I don't understand. I said I tested for short in diode mode the readings are: @=measured at
PPBUS_G3H @ r7006 pin1 = 1.38
PPBUS3V42_G3H @ L7095 pin2 =0.309
Oops I did mess up when I said ppbus3v42 on voltage what I was testing for was the line on the other side of 3v42 (PP18V5_DCIN_ISOL_R)
I...
Interesting the Mac boots everytime I plug in the power even when the battery is connected. learning some more ..When power pugged in it says 100% but when i unpug it the battery says 87% so am i looking at a charging issue or bad connection with battery.
That would be why when I plug in the...
Ok so I have a MBA 820-3437 Sometimes I get a green light but it fades. Sometimes I get power and boot but then it will shut off. I've tested for short in diode mode (red on ground)
PPBUS3V42_G3H @ L7095 pin2 =0.309
PPBUS_G3H @ r7006 pin1 = 1.38
Voltage for these two rails are as follows...
Going for the Keyboard. Ok Did some reflowing around U5701 and touched up R7803 Resistor Now I have 1.85 at Pin 30 for PP3v3_s4. On the other side of R7803 I have 3.3 and then 1.85 is that supposed to be that way. It is a resistor.
So let me think this out U5805 Gets 5v then out of it comes PP18v5_s4 cuz it's a booster? Right now I have 0.0 on pin 4 of U5805. Do I need to have things connected to get the right voltages?
