Tested known good Wifi board & cable, L3401, L3470/1/3/4 all test out. Have 3.3v on pin 1 of L3404 but 2.4v at pin 2. Without the card it's at 3.3v on pin 2. Bluetooth works. Only thing I can imagine is bad C3422 or WIFI_EVENT_L pulling the line down?

SMC Reflow did nothing, SMC reball fixed it. I'm hoping that's all it is and not a coincidence since it WAS working before, then wasn't, now is again.

Got an 820-3435 that says "Battery may not be charging properly" No liquid damage. DCIN_G3H is at 16.5v, so that would probably be the culprit in my mind? TechTools & Coconut both detect and test out the battery as being fine, charging at a decent rate. Had a problem where it just would not...

Forgot to mention that I did replace U1950 prior to v-core being present. I've tested it out thoroughly and all tests check out fine. Been running for 5 hours, boots & shuts down fine, all functions operational. CPU gets nice and toasty.

3115 board with no liquid damage, only thing that looks funny is a tad bit of corrosion on a BKLT capacitor (C9712) Pulsing PPVRTC, pulsing 5v_s5 and 3v3_s5, no PP5v_s3 or 3v3_s3. CPUVcore is at 0. PM_SLP_S4_L pulses around 20 mV so I don't think it's turning on enough for the SMC to do much...

Is that post liquid damage? I've found the same thing (which is super obnoxious) but I want to verify that it's not the liquid damage having done something to make magsafe 1's not work.

Liquid damaged board, got it up and running but it won't charge/turn on without an 85w magsafe 2. Otherwise it runs flawlessly. Is this something pretty common?

I've tried another magsafe, I've got 4v at ac-in. Solder is good on the ISL, I'm thinking maybe I gotta redo the SMC if there's a short on acok? I hope that's not what it is but I guess it's a possibility. EDIT: Tested for a short to ground, nope! All good here.

I honestly figured the SMC was at least bad because it had bubbled on the surface, not just replacing to replace. Also I'm not sure how to check for a short on pp3v42 after u6990 since all I've ever seen is "put a psu through it and see what heats up"

Sorry since my last post ive been just working on the board, I didnt meant to leave such a short reply. There was a short on U6990 which would drop voltage from pp18v5 to like 10v, replaced and voltage was steady pre-u6990 but 0v on pp3v42. Went ahead and replaced the SMC because fuck it why not...
