Ok, going to check SMC_DCIN_VSENSE as soon as the ultrasonic cleaning are done. But still Q7842 keeps stop working and get back to PM_SUS_EN going to 0V replaced it 4 times and keeps stop working. What can be the cause?

changed q7842 and some new measurements PM_SUS_EN . 3.3V DCINVSENSE_EN 3.3v DCIN_S5_VSENSE 16.7V PM_BATLOW_L 0.013V

seems strange with Q7842 P5VSUS_EN_L is 4.9V and PM_SUS_EN 0v. PP5V_SUS 0.005V

Just as before fans pulsing never stops just pulsing and nothing more happens. This is by far the most frustrating board I worked on for a long time

changed Q7842 and got PM_SUS_EN but seems it blows again all the time

yes i test with bouth original charger and my psu

0.148 without battery when I plug it in and nothing happens so guess not powered off.

ok, tried another smc and now im back where we started accept ppbus is 12.6 so only progress. Starts upp in smc bypass mode but dont find ssd. no green light if tryin to start normal nothing happens, get green then orange light, no fan spin it using 0.148 Amp if its any help.

working I dont know but with the keyboard it started up but not boot in to system. without the bad keyboard it didnt start before. and yes the smc are from same modell but try to do it all over again with old smc

sorry my bad correct measurement are CHGR_AMON 0.004v And one more bad thing is that what I first was start with smc bypass wasnt start =( its just fanspin cykling for about 10sec over and over again. Put it all together and with battery connected its fan spin but its like the fans pulsing.

yes after smc replacement PPBUS is 12.6 Starts in smc bypass mode

ok no start with SMC_ONOFF_L start method have had the battery disconnected when doing all this tests

do you mean short r5016 to ground? With bad keyboard PM_BATLOW_L at first 0 after 2 sec 3.3v and starts changed smc and ppbus now 12.6v all other the same

Thats what makes me confused YES it starts all the time with keyboard but dont get green light when it starts. as soon as i disconect keyboard I get green light but no start. no charging when starts. as mentioned in start of post I can get into efi and it pass =( that why I dont understand...

reflowed smc no change, should I try replace SMC or something else to try first?

NO change PM_BATLOW_L 0v with original 85w charger
