    820-00138-A PP1V35_S3_MEM short to ground

So you think I can try it first with some flux and hot air before starting to remove the chips?

820-3032-A quarter fan spin - not powering on

Okay, good to know - thank you - learned something new again :-) Yes my Vcore is stable 1.16V now. I'm getting no USB activity. Already replaced the BIOS chip with a known working one - same result. I'm getting fanspin with slowly and steady increasing speed

820-3032-A quarter fan spin - not powering on

Thank you for your reply! I replaced U2750 and now I got a fanspin. But PPVCORE_S0_AXG_R on L7550 is missing. On Q7550 I got: Pin 1/2: 8.5V Pin 3: 0V Pin 4: 0V Pin 5: 0V Pin 6/7/8: 0V No short to ground on this pins. But I got PPVCORE_S0_CPU_PH1, so U7400 seems to be powered?! Thank you.

    820-00244 no video

Had a similar problem with an other MBP. The issue here was a faulty BIOS/SPI Flash IC. You can try to flash a known working BIOS binary.

820-3032-A quarter fan spin - not powering on

Hello again, I got another problem with a Macbook Air (820-3032-A). I get a short fan spin (for ~1second) every 5 seconds - ALL_SYS_PWGD and all S0 rails are pulsing, S5 rails are stable and there is no Voltage on the VCORE rails. On U2750 i get: Pin 1: pulsing Pin 2: pulsing Pin 4: 0V Pin 5...

    820-00138-A PP1V35_S3_MEM short to ground

Hello everybody, actually i'm working on a 2015 MacBook pro 15" (820-00138-A) that is not powering on. I detected PP1V35_S3_MEM is shorted to ground but i struggle in locating the short circuit. I inserted 1.35V to Pin 2 of R5560 but here all memory chips are getting warm. There are about 200...

    820-4924-A no Display - missing PP5V_S0_LCD

After some days the same error occured again. Why is the bios getting bad? Could it be a bad BIOS chip?

    820-3330-B missing PP3V3_SUS

PPBUS_G3H is stable with 12.73V. I already tried it with the original 85W charger but in general i'm using a 10A PSU on 18.5V. PM_BATLOW_L is also low (~10mV) The battery is chargin. Didn't tried SMCbypass mode yet. Dows not tun on with charger and battery connected. The 4 RTC signals...

    820-3330-B missing PP3V3_SUS

Hello everybody :) actually I struggle at an old Macbook Pro (820-3330-B). Is takes 19-20 mA and PP3V3_SUS is missing (40mV). On Q7820 i got PP3V3_S5 3.37V and P3V3SUS_SS 3.34V. I need some hints why my PP3V3 is so low :-/ Thank you dudipupan

820-00165-A Chimes and external display but no internal display (screen not detected?)

R8350 is good. I think I messed up the LCD connector when unsoldering it from the old board. Tried it with a loose lcd cable and diode mode on the multimeter bit didnt get any connection. So I will wait for my new LCD connectors and change it again :)

820-00165-A Chimes and external display but no internal display (screen not detected?)

Hi everybody, i received a MacBookAir from 2016 (820-00165-A) with a liquid da, U5800mage. I replaced components around U8300, many components around U6101 such as U3210, U7701 (Baclkight IC) and the LCD-Connector (there were some burnmarks on pins 2-4). I also replaced the cable of the...

    820-4924-A no Display - missing PP5V_S0_LCD

Thank you!! Bios flash solved the problem. How is that possible that Bios breaks by changing the battery? ? Now i really got a problem with missing PP5VR3V3_SW_LCD on another board (booting with chimes, external display and 3.3V for few seconds). Should I create a new thread or can I ask you...

    820-4924-A no Display - missing PP5V_S0_LCD

The previous owner changed the battery. Before the battery change it worked well without any issues. That's all i know about this board - no signs of liquid or anything else... Ah and he sent it to me with two PUS - onw of them with too high output voltage (20V) - i don't know if he used the 20V...
