    820-00840 No PP3V3_G3H

Replaced U3100, I now have PPDCIN_G3H=5V. PP3V3_G3H is ~2.9V. When I plug the USB C power meter in to the port connected to U3100 I get 5V and ~400mA but on the port connected to U3200 I get 5V ~170mA. Does that sound like U3200 is bad as well or that I goofed soldering U3100?

You're right of course :) It was U3100. Now I gotta do some reballing. Thanks a lot for the help.

PP20V_USBC_XA_VBUS=5V but PPDCIN_G3H=0V. Don't I need this rail before U7000 is suspect? The power system on these boards makes my brain hurt.

Hi, I have dead 820-00840. It had liquid damage around U2890 which I cleaned up and ran jumper wires etc. 5V on the USB C power meter. I have: PP3V3_G3H = 0.17V PM_EN_P3V3_G3H_R = 0V Neither are short to gnd. Any help from here would be appreciated.

    820-00239 missing PPVCCEDRAM_S0_CPU

Do you mean PPVCCGT_S0_CPU is the last voltage to appear? I suppose I could try flashing an EFI dump if I can find one. Can you think of anything else to try?

    820-00239 missing PPVCCEDRAM_S0_CPU

No luck with the reflow. I have been reading the datasheet for SiC631 (U7410). The actual chip on the logic board is SiC635 but I can't find the datasheet for it and this one seems functionally the same. If I understand it correctly, the SiC chip (U7410 etc) needs communication from the...

Cheers, there is no short I was probing the wrong pin. I'll reflow U7800 with some amtech.

    820-00239 missing PPVCCEDRAM_S0_CPU

Scratch that. The boardview for this model is screwed up on those sic chips so I was counting the pins manually. I didn't realise that a pin is skipped on the bottom edge so I had the wrong pin which was gnd :( Looking at the datasheet for the sic631 since I can't find the datasheet for the 635...

    820-00239 missing PPVCCEDRAM_S0_CPU

Got an update. PP5V_S0 is missing from pin 29 of U7410 and the other phases of my missing rails. There is a 0.2R short to gnd on that line. Now I just have to figure out where the short is.

    820-00239 missing PPVCCEDRAM_S0_CPU

Hi, This is a liquid damage board. The board turns on but does not POST. I have all the S0 rails except PPVCCGT_S0_CPU AND PPVCCEDRAM_S0_CPU. I'm struggling a bit to figure out how the voltage regulator circuits on these newer boards are supposed to work. Any help would be appreciated.
