Would F7000 be a good place to inject 13.1v on PIN 1? If so how much amps should I set it too, same as charger 4.2amps?

Or if I find components that are closer to 0.00 in diode on the shorted rail should I inject voltage on those components and see what heats up?

What is the best way to find that short given that all of the line is shorted? I'm still having trouble with that. I know I could start pulling components off but that would be a lot of work. Is it by voltage drop at different points or...Diode mode? This is something I need to brush up on and...
