    [SOLVED]A1534 820-00045 pita

You got it. It was. These connectors/cables are confusing. Same connectors but on the MLB, connections are facing down, on the audio board facing up. My apologies.

    [SOLVED]A1534 820-00045 pita

After some test, we've found out that when the board 820-4049-A is plugged, PP3V3_S0 is shorted. Parts number are the same. We suspect that originally the cable 821-1910-A was bent and created a short. After plugging the new board with the faulty keyboard we did short the 2 different boards we...

    [SOLVED]A1534 820-00045 pita

Hello, We have received that MacBook retina 12" 2015 for servicing with a broken charging port. Charging port will work but not lock the charging cable. Other than that, Mac was working fine. After pulling out the computer and replacing the USB-C cable, we can't get it to boot up with a new...

820-3115 - No picture. Lower resistance to ground on CPU rails

Yes I did plug the speakers to the board, not to the jack connector. Board has a bit of corrosion here and there but I would say, normal signs of corrosion, no liquid damage imo. What is the resistance to ground on the CPU rails on that board please? Can anyone give me his reading?

820-3115 - No picture. Lower resistance to ground on CPU rails

Hi Duke, I did that but I couldn't hear the chime anyway + please note that the system won't beep without RAM inserted. I tried to swap the Bios with another board just to see if it would make any difference. None so I put back the original Bios chip. It really sounds like the CPU is not doing...

820-3115 - No picture. Lower resistance to ground on CPU rails

Hello, I have that mainboard which had Q7802 ripped off and which has been obvisouly reworked near the jack connector. The board would not start until I re-install Q7802. Now the board has the fan spinning but doesn't seem to get a hot enough CPU and has no picture either on the LCD or the...

[SOLVED]820-3787 Dead DC-IN Board + F7005 blown. Now quarter fan spinning

Well I did replace U5420 + check rework all the resistors R831X. Funnily it did work for a while and once the customer came to pick up the laptop it happened again... some kind magnetism Anyway, happy customer who didn't pay for the repair ;-)

[SOLVED]820-3787 Dead DC-IN Board + F7005 blown. Now quarter fan spinning

Thanks for answering Duke. Basically between switching from 1 GPU to another, the screen goes black (a fraction of a second) A simple example is starting Final Cut Pro X which use only the discrete GPU. You'll see the screen going black very quickly and back to normal. I'll post a video though...

[SOLVED]820-3787 Dead DC-IN Board + F7005 blown. Now quarter fan spinning

Well I am not out of the woods yet. Screen is now flickering. It seems to happen when the computer is switching graphics from Intel IRIS to Nvidia GPU. Once connected to an external monitor, it is stabilized. Could the Mux chip be dead in your opinion?

[SOLVED]820-3787 Dead DC-IN Board + F7005 blown. Now quarter fan spinning

No short that I could find at least. Vcore is present at 1.8V when it turns on. The weird thing is how quick it would turn off and back on again. Now, not to forget this is happening with a DC power supply. On a 85W magsafe, I get a quick green light and then off so there might be some short...

[SOLVED]820-3787 Dead DC-IN Board + F7005 blown. Now quarter fan spinning

Hi, I have that board was not turning on at first + no green light. Replaced DC-IN board as some diode mode very different from a known working one. Still no go. I saw a difference in diode mode on F7005 between each side of it. Replaced F7005. Got a quick green light on the charger then off...

MBP 15" 2015 - 820-00163 Graphic issues only with the integrated Iris GPU

I've just realized by going back on that board that one chip U8310 was ripped off the board (related to the TCON circuitry). I've also noticed that some resistors near the screen connector were reworked (also related to the TCON circuitry). So basically they've tried to fix TCON and remove the...
