You need to use at least a 96w charger for this board and also a good battery. Try connecting a know good battery and use the correct charger.

Make sure you using a 87w charger and USB-C cable that is rated for 5 amps. You need to get 20v before worrying about no PPBUS on this board.

Wow yea that was it. It was a bad LCD flex cable that caused this. Even though the cable I used was brand new, it has a broken trace in it for the 3v3 power rail, so the 3.3v was not making it to the TCON board. Replaced the LCD flex again and everything is working fine now. Thanks for the assist.

You could try and reflow U4200. I've fixed a few of these just by doing that.

U9850 is dead and needs to be changed.

I had a similar issue in another model MacBook and it turned out to be and audio issue. Every time you connect the charger, it makes that dong sound and that sound was causing the mac to crash. Try playing a Youtube video and see if the sound output causes it to crash also.
