hello, this board 820-3332, had water damage , fixed, had ppnush_g3h and cpu vcore ton register problem, fixed it not its turning on showing apple logo, but half way loading os it freeze.... does load os, also tried with usb boot osx, same thing it stop loading half way any advice !!

around spi chip one register was missing, after changing that it quater fan spin gone!!!! but ... its turns on when i apply 16v from my bench power supply to the board , if i connect magsafe there is no green light board does not turn on, on dcin rail i see only 2v..... when i put 16 v in...

some one really cleaned the before i got it, which one SPI resistor? could give all possible hint ... thank you

its the ram power rail , i had the same problem, fixed it with changing the chip, i think u7300 not sure. pls chk schematic...

wow louis you are seriously smart. it was r7021 and r7022, notw ppbus_g3h is good 12.6 v now no 5v, rail. , u7201 making 3.3v but no 5v, pin 4 =P5VS4_EN is missing ..... then i found PM_SLP_S5_L is missing.. for missing PM_SLP_S5_L ... what do i chk ? thanks in advance. which rail power the...

this 820-3332 retina 15" board don't have any ppbus g3h!, green is on, i changed ISL6259 chip, still no luck only 1.2 V in ppbus. also dont see any short to ground any advice!!! im attaching isl pin voltage pls chk 1 0 CHGR_AGATE 2 16.48...

fixed!!!! easiest fixing in board repair history....LVDS CONNECTOR WAS BAD in board. i put new fresh connector .... in this repair my good microscope really helped me. so buy a very good microscope .

some thing shoring around u7000, thats making green light on and off, not the smc issue... the key is around u7000.... ignore green light ....;).....change all Q..

3115 board, no image on screen, no backlight, its works with external monitor with mini display port. no image even i put flash light on screen, history NO WATER or liquid damage, lvds connector looks good , any advice where to start
