RP850 starts with 5.1v as soon as image apears goes to 4.9v, diode mode 0.491
RP851 starts with 5.1v as soon as image apears goes to 4.8v, diode mode 0.491
RP852 5.1v, diode mode 0.276, also give 1.3kohm, according to schematics should be 1.8kohm
RP853 5.1v, diode mode 0.276, also give 1.3kohm...
Yes, sure tested with 2 different screens. Screens work on other board.
UB050 area very clean... Measured alle traces on UB050, diode mode readings all ok according to PLDaniels.
Hi,
Got a perfect logicbiard no traces of liquid only on pin 17 en 18 of UP800. Got chip off and saw that pin 18 was corroded bad. Cleaned it and replaced UP800 with one from 820-01598 (according to PDF, same model) Chip should get 5v.
Diode mode readings are ok except for pin 17 and 4
Pin 17...
I tested while one chip was removed and then got 20v on the other side. And UPC_I2C_INT_L was high... But doesn't this mean there is no communication between the chips. That's why it's not getting pulled down. I'm thinking as soon as the communication begins it's getting pulled down. With only 3...
I tested all four CD3217 chips with diode mode... Every single point on them! (Hell of a job!) All 4 are same as know good board.
What I noticed is that UPC_I2C_INT_L is 13 Ohm to ground when power is connected. So It looks like is being pulled down. When I look with thermal imager only thing...
So actually what I see is
R5200 is connected to other resistor R3021 and RB241.
R3021 is the going to U3100 & U3200.
RB241 is going to UB300 & UB400.
same for R5201 is connected to other resistor R3025 and RB242.
R3025 is the going to U3100 & U3200.
RB242 is going to UB300 & UB400.
Is it...
Ok, weird enough all diode mode readings look good. But when I check voltage I see some weird stuff.
I checked UPC_I2C_INT_L 0v
R5246 1=1.8v 2=0v
R5200 1=1.8v 2=1,4v
R5201 1=1.8v 2=1,1v
On working board all voltages are 1.8v So looks like something is pulling them down. How can I find out what...
Reflashing of TBT Rom's did nothing...
The CD3217 are the original ones they are untouched! Maybe I can just compare in diode mode all pins of cd3217 with good board, I don't have to change all cd3217?!
PPBUS_G3H is 12.25v charger alone. I did another dfu restore and it works with battery and charger connected. Amp meter shows 20v 0.1a. I bought original 96w Apple charger.
Charger works with good board perfectly.
Today I saw a Spanish video (used CC with translation) on YouTube
Who had same...
Before I look at the TBT rom area. I noticed that after I flashed the SoC rom with the working one. It now stays in DFU mode. Even when I restore or revive it can’t complete and always stays in dfu mode…
Also put back the original Rom file, can’t get it to boot with battery to anymore.
No, without battery doesn't work. Machine works on battery with charger connected but doesn't charge.
I tried a SoC Rom flash. Didn't do a thing...
All USB-C port have same behavior...
