Board with water damage. There was a short on PPBUS. Changed U7900 and U800 ( were bad) Now getting: PPBUS, 3V3_S5/SUS. Checked big coils and no pulse. On charger i get 20V and stack at 0.04 AMPS.

No water damage. Internal screen has backlight but no image, external is ok. Already checked new display, flex (lcd to board) without result. Any idea?

I am not trying to charge the battery. I try to run from battery. Anyway even conected and good known LIO the issue is the same. When board is hot it is working ok but when cold not running from battery

no, light is stable. Anyway when i try to run from battery i dont connect LIO board ( all procedure described was done without LIO board connected)

Forget to tell that already checked R5380/81. Resistance are ok, and diode mode is 0.530 on both and voltage 3.42V (pulsing 3.42-3.44 every second) Checked that when U7100 is hot and board run from battery, the diode mode is 0.480 . Any idea what does it mean?

Got this board with water damage (lightly). PPBUS was 8.20 so i changed 8.60 and now it is turning on. After that the battery wasnt detected and ISL 17/18 wasnt ok, so i changed it too. Now when u7100 area is a little hot it is starting and detecting battery and run from battery, but if it is...

Hi, Got this board, no liquid damage. The problem is that sometimes it is not detecting magsafe ( no light on it). Already checked ISL65... and 17/18, 27/28 are ok. Reballed SMC and still have that issue.

I dont even know that there are this two qualities. Anyway cuatomer take it away without keyboard backlight. PS. Even if ALS sensor is missing keyboard backlight must light when press the button. I testes it with no display on other air and keyboard is lighting

Tried revive through Apple Configurator, but no changes. P.S. Flashed it second time and now i have backlight on keyboard but only when i am on user passwords screen. Once i put password and it loads the system machine is back exactly in first post situation.

with old display also no keyboard backlight. Also even there is no automatic brightness adjustmen, at least on display, i can do it manually. But on keyboard i dont even get this icon:

ok. ANy way old display is totally destroyed. Will try if keyboard backlight start working with old display. Anyway: As i remember if internal display is disconected, keyboard backlight is automaticly on, right?

you are right, seems be ALS sensors. Automaticly adjust brightner also disappeared for display settings. Anything to check on logic board?
