one of the USB ports not working. One of the diodes have fallen off. im trying to salvage one from a donor board but the closest thing i have 820-3462? Can anyone tell me if I could use one of those diodes? thanks in advance

Yeah, thats the one mate. I measured one from a working board which presented 100nF which would be 0.1uF? definately 0402 and no harm using 50v right?

ok so after injecting 3V i found L6400 heating mega. now after removing i wanted to make sure the short on pp3v42 is not short to ground so i test pin 2 L6995 and no beep so its all good. I replaced L6400 and again short. So i removed and check the other end of L6400 which continues as...
