Cant find any liquid on the board.
At the start there was short on PPBUS and UB300 was getting hot.
Replaced and short is gone but on that side got 5V and 0.25A. Just in case replaced CD3215 one more time but same issue.
On another side 20V and around 1A.
There is Apple logo, no progress bar...
Made a stupid mistake - was checking voltage DFR_TOUCH_RESET_L and flex was not connected.
With flex connected got on R5103/1 1.78V and on R5103/2 1.77V
Board was liquid damaged around J5100
Resistors around showing correct values.
Diode on J5100 show same values like another board.
No Touch Bar with brand new part.
SPI_DFR_MISO_R = 1.68V
DFR_TOUCH_INT_L = 1.73V
DFR_LID_OPEN_L = 0.02V
DFR_TOUCH_RESET_L = 0.058V
PP1V8_SLPS2RSW_DFR = 1.80V...
All 1V1 LDOs was present.
Removed one CD3215, checked SMC_USBC_INT_L and was still stable at 0V, removed another one and then I saw pulse/spike. Putted back second chip and again was flat 0V. Replaced it with new chip and all works fine.
WOW - thank you very much for all ideas. That will help...
PP1V8_SLPS2R = 1.8V not stable
PP1V1_SLPS2R = 1.1V not stable
PP0V8_SLPS2R = 0.8V not stable
PPVDDCPU_AWAKE = 0.75V
PPVDDCPUSRAM_AWAKE = 0.8V
PP1V8_AWAKE = 1.8V
PP1V2_AWAKE = 1.19V
PP3V3_AWAKE = 3.22V
All voltages above are not stable.
Sorry but what mean 'SYM 1 OF 4'? Below are details about...
W/ batt got 20V and 0A from charger.
W/o batt got 5V and 0.044A from charger.
PPBUS_G3H w/o batt = 0.23V (on F7000)
PPBUS_G3H w/ batt = 10.3V
PPBUS3_G3H got 0.420V in diode mode.
All LDO's reading in diode mode are OK on all four CD3215's.
PP3V3_G3H = 3.340V
Would like try to replace U7370 as it is liquid damaged and got a question:
It is SIC535 and it will compatible with SIC532?
Another questions about CPU mosfets:
I see on boards SIC635, FDMF5804/08 - are they compatible or each of them are unique?
