Duke guy came in demanding his laptop... I just had to put it back together now.. I felt like this was fixable too... voltage at pin 8 on u1950 was doing 3.42v and then dropping to 1v... and repeating its self quarter fan spin... replaced u7300 but no dice...ITs my fault I took the job and he...
Hey Duke I verfied it was placed correctly.... The voltage going up and down is that something to worry about it what else could this be u1950 area is was gross looking but no green corrosion.. apple juice..

Ok so R5813 pin 1 1.3-4 Voltages pin 2 0.v and has a 0.000 reading on diode mode which means short to ground ?
R5812 pin 1 18.4 volts pin 2 1.3-4
C5818 pin 2 1.3v Pin 1 18.4
Duke how to check continuity on those pins.. sry for the noob question.
What it says is... on diode mode i get OL on c6905 and when i check for voltage at that same point with charger plugged in i get .658v I typed really fast i thought you would understand since it was a voltage reading and not a resistance reading but i can see the misunderstanding... either way...
WHY DID YOU ASSUME THAT I HAD CHARGER PLUGGED IN???? NOW YOU LOOK LIKE A JACK ASS!
Can i please get a real response.. c6905 reads OL so does fuse.. on diode and when i have charger plugged in im getting .658 v
.. Did not C6905 Looks bad OL on diode mode and .674 volts with charger... I took off c6905 and still have OL on the non grounded end of cap and on f6905
This is a refurbished board client purchased on amazon or something he cannot get a refund... boots up but keyboard trackpad not responding... im not getting 18v on trackpad connector while on so i replaced u5701 and still nochange that area looks like it was water damaged at somepoint...
