have double checked and triple checked, replaced another ISL62383 for good measure and still get the same results. removed all resisters connected to the ISL and measured them individually, this should be a closed circuit. this is gonna keep me awake for days trying to solve

i have replaced with ILS62383 version and i still get the same spike in the beginning and no voltage after that.

PCH_SRTCRST_L - 3.3 PCH_INTVRMEN - 1.8 / 3.3 PCH_INTRUDER_L. -1.8 / 3.3 SYSCLK_CLK32K_RTCX1 - 32KHz on o-scope but i find the reading abit inconsistant in the sense sometimes i get low reading about 1.8V for INTVRMEN and INTRUDER but when reconnect magsafe it goes to 3.3.

Unit came is as dead, no light on magsafe Found smc shorted, and pp3v42_g3h 8.7V replaced SMC, U7090,R7095,R7096. and now get orange light on charger. Still does not boot. RTC voltage and pch signal all good but missing pm_slp_sus_l. This needed for pm_slp_ s5_l signal? or dead CPU

Hello, i just received 2 units MBP 820-2915 and both have the same symptom. Fan spins, No chime, no USB activity, No Capslock. Vcore 0.78V. when removed RAM, it beeps. same with SMC Bypass mode. I know GPU dies alot for this modal but what are the other usual suspects?

my bad here..i think this board won't boot without battery, so it was displaying the low battery icon but issue was no backlight so i was not able to see it. even under light it is hard but i caught it.

No usb activity or external video as well.. Forget to mention on the second boot cycle lasted for 30 Seconds and it just shutdown itself

Unit is very clean.. no water damage anywhere but does this funny boot sequence. first cycle - fan immediately spins for 5 seconds and power cut off. during this, cpucore is 1.05v 2nd cycle - without unplugging charger, i get cpucore 1.05v for 5 seconds, but no fan spin. fan start spinning...

okay, using back the same thread as i just received another mac same model which does this. Boots up apple logo with spinning wheel, about 15 seconds later, shuts down. but stays on when no HDD is plugged in. I read that this is the classic bad GPU issue on this model Would DeMux solve this issue?

I'm measuring 1V+ on pm_slp_s4_l. All main voltage before S4 is good, but PCH signals are not PCH_SRTCST_L 3v3V PCH_INTRUDER_L 1.8V PCH_INTVRMEN jumping abobut from 0.6 to 0.9V ppvrtv 3.3v RTC_RESET_L 3.3V reading on those resisters are within spec DSWVRMEN is 60ohm 0V pump 1.5v into DSWVRMEN...
