pin 8 on u1950 looks ok

Hi. Checked this morning around U7200. Getting 8.5 V in to pin 17. Nothing on pin 10 or pin 1.

Oh yea...there's life. The entire board will work fine. It even boots. Then I unplug charger and plug back in and it will be dead. Ill start probing around and all of a sudden it turns on again. I did clean the corrosion because I wrongfully assumed it was working but I know where the damage...

Hi - Have board with liquid damage on DC In board and corrosion on upper right side of main board to the right of CPU. Replaced DC In board and everything was working. After cleaning now I get no PP5V_SO.

Hi. I have a 2015 A1398 820-00138 with liquid damage & no power. G3hot - .7 pp 3v42 - Good G3hot Ohms to ground - starts at .7 to .4 CPU is warm Liquid damage was around U7200 Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

l4500 looks kinda crappy. Tiny solder balls hanging off it, little burnt on the bottom near the board but it seams to be working fine.

Pins 1, 9, 10, 11, 12 all have 5v's. all 4 SATA lines seem to have connectivity. 17 to C4533, 19 34, 18 to 36 and 20 to 35.

hi. yes. both sides L4500 are 5V's. the old cable smelled burned. The hard drive Im using boots to MacOS via USB. Also, and not sure if this is related yet. computer only starts up with battery. Will charge and stay running with magsafe. But will only boot with battery. Thanks for your response...

I have an 820-2915 that had a fried SATA cable. Changed the cable and still no spin from drive. L4500 - 5V c4510 - 1.1 c4511 - 1.1 c4534 - 0 c4533 - 0 fl4501 - 0 U4510 pn 4 1V pn 5 1V pn 6 1.5V pn16 1.5V Thanks in advance for any insight.
