Agreed. That is why I am not jumping straight to GPU replacement on this one. No chime on boot and no image only fan spin. NVRAM reset doesnt work. This morning I was able to boot it again but it crashed in Furmark immediately.

I use Cinebench for quick CPU and GPU test and FURMARK for long stress test. Now it doesnt even want to boot -> black screen. Back to the original problem before GPU reflow.

Replaced the cap. Put on Video stress test. Black image and system freeze after half an hour. GPU next?

Pulled SMC but still 0V SMC_RESET.

Correct. PPBUS is 12.3V. Replaced U5110. One leg was corroded. Got orange light on MAgsafe but still no SMC_RESET or Adapter_EN. Put contact cleaner under SMC. Then ultrasonic it. Then pressure air. Dry. Test. No Luck. Reflow with flux. No luck. No more orange on Magsafe. SMC_ONOFF_L high...

No light on Magsafe. No ADAPTER_EN, no SMC_RESET. U5110 pin 1 - 3.42V. Using good old apple magsafe 1 85W with dual output: 18.5V 4.6A and 16.5V 3.6A but also tried with 60W Magsafe just in case ;)

Thanks for doubting my solderging skills Duke. I've resoldered new LED driver and backlight suddenly decided to work! When I desoldered my firstly soldered led driver I saw a few pads without solder meaning it has not soldered on those pads. Many thanks for your help!

Any 3V? will C7711 do?
