Hello don't know if this will help, on a 820-3662, had the same issue where it doesn't register any audio device. it ended up being the audio codec chip. You may want to try looking around that area, make sure its getting all it's power.

If U1100 of the 820-3787 board, the intel HM87 chipset, if thats bad (resistance reading on USB_EXTA_N is around 6ohms with a good board being about 1Mohm), could this be the cause of boot up being stuck. I'm just concerned that this board as a lot more failed components.
